Field Stickers · participants and helpers
Forty ways to notice a human being participating.
Participation is not one personality type wearing academic clothes. People think, wonder, listen, return, pass, connect, make memes, ask sideways questions, go quiet, re-enter, and notice the machine. These stickers make some of that multiplicity visible.
Built from a neurodivergent understanding of universal accessibility: different nervous systems, bodies, histories, communication styles, and attention patterns do not need to impersonate one Expected Human to count as present.
For participants
This is encouragement, not adhesive surveillance.
Your helper may send you a sticker because something you did changed what the room could think, notice, hold, or make. You may also recognize your own participation or nominate somebody else’s. Human attention is not always conveniently stationed behind a podium.
For helpers
The Helper’s Guild has one permanent door.
All forty stickers are always available. Notice what the contribution did, choose the closest creature, and send its claim link privately. You are supporting the room—not becoming an unpaid surveillance subcontractor for the university.
The complete field population
All forty. Nobody is in the back room.
Field experiment · entirely optional
The taxonomy is not closed.
Did the room produce a form of participation our forty creatures failed to notice? Make the missing sticker. Take this prompt to whatever model you use. If it cannot make images, make it help you sharpen the prompt, then carry the prompt to one that can. Machines disagree. This is part of the entertainment.
This is for fun. Matching the visual system does not automatically make a creature official canon. First it must survive contact with Maya and the catalogue’s extremely selective moral-character committee.
When the machine finally stops spelling like it is being pursued through a forest, send the finished PNG and return note to Maya through the private class channel.
